Daihikan Park has a softball field, tennis courts, a playground with equipment, a grass skiing area, and other facilities that can be enjoyed by children and their parents. Flowers, including cherry blossoms in April and azaleas and irises from May to June, add color. The large characters that read “Daihikan” (lit. deep compassion) were engraved on a giant rock there in 1830 by order of then Lord Hirado.
