Sasebo City is located at the westernmost point of mainland Japan and has a history that has been developed around the port.
It has prospered as a military port but also became known as cruise port since 2015. Because of its location, Sasebo City has easy access especially from Korea and China, which gives tourists extra time to enjoy their stay.
